Silk Stones - Works by Rochelle Rubenstein
Yeshiva University Museum
Goal | Use drawing and sculpture to reveal different paths -- some intellectual, some mystical -- to connect with history and the Divine.
This monographic exhibition featured sculpture, works on paper, wood and fabric, and a series of richly decorated handmade books created by Toronto-based artist Rochelle Rubinstein. I oversaw curatorial and design development for this 1,200 square foot presentation, which included a meditation area and hand-written wall messages from the artist.
